On 13th of November, it was my first time to try ice skating. It was fun, cold, and painful.

I met a sweet kid who gave me some tips. She instructed me to walk in “V” form to keep the body in balance while swaying my arms. She also told me to bend my knees when I'm out of balance. At the end of the session, I'm proud to say that I conquered the rink! I learned how to balance and to skate forward without holding the bars. Also it would never be complete without learning how to fall.

I skated for about 2.5 hrs. I still wanted to stay but my body could no longer stand the coolness inside. So till next time…

About the venue: The Ice Skating Rink in Mall of Asia is an Olympic-sized ice rink making it the largest skating facility in the Philippines. You can enjoy an unlimited ice skating for only Php300.00 during weekdays and Php390.00 during weekends or holidays, which is inclusive of ice skating shoes and head gear.

Every 30 minutes or so, the ice skating theme song will be played and there will be fake snow falling from a high ceiling.
